The costume looks fine out of the box. As stated in the review title, tall men should avoid an uncomfortable and unfortunate-looking space thong effect thanks to the onesie design (I'm 6'1''). Look elsewhere.

The jumpsuit looks really cool and was as good as I hoped. The boot covers are a cool addition and also look really nice and match the on-line photo well. The only complaint is that the helmet, which looks really cool in the picture, is made from the same material as the jumpsuit and is too soft and doesn't hold it's shape at all. It wears more like a sack over your head than a helmet. I tried lining the inside of the helmet with rigid cardboard, but the cut is irregular and the top is pointed and not at all rounded like a helmet should be (or the picture leads you to believe). I gave up and ended up purchasing a seperate helmet to go with the costume - unfortunately it cost me just as much as the spacesuit did. If you want a cool looking retro space suit and boot covers then this will work. Just expect to put a lot of work into the helmet to get it to look like the picture.

costume was fine in every way except for the one size its offered in. I m six feet tall and there was no way i could have worn it. My roommate is 5'9 and he could barely get it on, and even then was still uncomfortably small. So this is a great costume if your of smaller height.
