A little tight on my chubby 5 month old baby, but she looked cute as Princess Leia.

She looked adorable in the costume, but it was huge. I may be able to use it when she turns 1 since it was so big. I had to sew the cap in the back to make the headpiece smaller and make it stay on. The outfit was huge, but the belt made it work. However, I live in south florida and the material was really thick and made her really hot, so I could only leave it on her for a little while.

I ordered this item for my daughter who wears 12-18 month clothing. The product is really cute and well made, but she was swimming in it!!!! I had to alter it for her to wear it on Halloween. The head piece fit me (and it does not have elastic or anything to hold it on the childs head. So I had to sew elastic to go around her chin to hold it on)!! So my advice is to order a size down and get out your sewing machine!

I ordered the 0-6 month size for my daughter who is on the small side and will be 6 months November 2nd. This costume, planned for Halloween use, is sized very weirdly. The hat is on the big side, not a huge issue since the back extends down and this gives me the opportunity to safety pin it to the gown, preventing me from having to pick it up off the floor all night. It's felt-ish material so the front molds well to her head and looks so so adorable.
The dress on the other hand... The size on the packaging says Newborn 0-9 months... not 0-6. The dress is oversized. The belt is attached, but the belt is way too small for her even at this age. My daughter isn't wide in the middle, she actually has good definition in her belly for a newborn. I'm going to have to hem the sleeves and find some velcro extender for the back of the belt.
I love the outfit, because it's the perfect design for the party we're going to, but after waiting 10 days for it to be delivered, I wish it would fit better. I'm glad we tried it on my daughter today, at least I have time to make the adjustments.

After reading various reviews that the sizing on this was big I ordered a size 6-12mo (INFANT) for my daughter. I was SO impressed when In Fashion Kids contacted me just to clarify the sizing before they shipped. My daughter is wearing size 18 month clothes at 13 months old and the costume fits JUST right. Any longer would be too long. The hat is pretty oversized but I like the idea another customer suggested of putting a strap on the hat. This is a good idea regardless of size for a child this age! VERY pleased with the seller's communication and super fast shipping and pleased with the product itself.
