 Awesome Tiger Girl (just beware of sizing)Jan 10, 2012

We bought this costume because my daughter grew out of her first tiger costume. Before she was 2 years old my father, her grandfather, nicknamed my first daughter "Tiger Girl" because she liked to come up to him and pretend to be a wild tiger and growl. She did it quite well, so we got her a costume which was an instant hit of course and got lots of wear. When she grew we tried to find the same costume in a bigger size and could not. That's when I found this costume. I admit that when I ordered, I thought that "multicolored" meant that it would be the classic orange and black striped pattern that her last one was, not this white version. And when she first saw it, half asleep, she cried and asked for it to be returned. But, with a good night's sleep and a reminder that there are white tigers, and that they are a rare species these days, she started to warm to the idea. Not only that, but with Halloween coming here in the northeastern USA, she was literally going to be warm in this costume. It is an upgrade from the previous costume in the fact that it is made of much thicker, quality, SOFT material with attached gloves and feet that are quite toasty. In the end, she was happy and we were thrilled. She was cozy walking all through the neighborhood on Halloween and it is well made and sized right so that she will get good use out of it for at least another year(she's super tall or I would expect it to fit longer). I guess that's the only thing you need to worry about-the size. Make sure you know what height your child is and match it to the company's sizing, not Amazon's sizing. There was some sort of discrepancy there and we ended up trusting the garment makers size over Amazon's size, and that worked for us (She is 3 years old, but wears a size 4-5 because of her height, so we ordered the "Child Size Small"). So, bottom line: Excellent costume, very realistic looking, well made, and warm. Be aware of sizing issues and you should be fine. Happy growling!

"Idea Futbol"
The custome is amazing, especially the mask, but the size is a bit small. My son is a very average in height, and skinny, 5 year old and it barely fit him! If the body came in 2 parts it would be less worrisome, but given it's a one piece, I fear it won't last him much. The mask's velcro to close at the chin is also a bit tight and too short, so he closes it just below the mouth rather than below his chin. He loved it and I fear the day it won't fit. It is sold as a 4-6 size.
