It's simply plastic, but it works perfectly for a 1920s costume. It's a great price for this accessory, and it is pretty long so you can adjust it to the perfect length by tying the knot wherever it looks best.

I wore these beads with my flapper costume. They looked really great with the costume and you can wear them every day as an accessory if you want.

Very disappointed.... What JUNK! Beads stuck or melted together.... ugly.. and they smell..... Like I said what junk ! Don't buy this !!
