Super cuteNov 01, 2011
By ATodd I ordered this costume in size 6-12 mo. It fit my child who was 13 mo old quite nicely (approx 28" tall) It fit over a jogging suit easily, so there was no need to wear a jacket over the costume while outside, which was a plus. The costume was extremely cute, I recommend it!
You can find cuterOct 16, 2011
By Patti Martha I was buying for a 5 month old so I ordered the 6-12 month size - it is HUGE!!! There are cuter parrot costumes out there, but if you can't find anything else, this will do.
Great costume!!Apr 12, 2011
By mombrn Excellent costume, fit really well, looked adorable! Hat was a bit so small so I safety pinned the ends together instead of using the velcro.

This costume just really didn't come together for my 10-month-old. He has a big head, but it's not ridiculous, and the head piece of the costume wouldn't even come close to closing under his chin. The body part was too big, but I expected that because he's little (although he's not smaller than a six-month-old, and this is supposed to fit those kids, too). Cute idea, especially since he was the parrot to my 3-year-old's pirate, but it just didn't quite work out. It's also one of those costumes where you think you could have pulled it together for five bucks if you just had a little sewing capability.

By Stonebridge Snob We bought this costume for our 1-year old to "match" our 2-year old's Pirate costume... a pirate and his parrot. Costume arrived quickly and in good condition. It is a nice costume, but it is made with cheap materials (no pun intended). We didn't expect anything fancy - it's a halloween costume. We had a few people ask if he was a chicken, but generally everyone recognized it was a parrot costume. Most were too dim-witted to realize the relationship between the two costumes.
If you live somewhere that's cold, it isn't warm enough so look for something else. We live in Texas, so the weight of the costume was fine for our 60+ degree Halloween night.
You won't win any best-dressed awards, but it is fine for a last minute costume.
