Cute costume - not very high quality.Jan 05, 2007

This costume was really cute. My three-year old wore it, and his little brother was Robin. The actual quality of the costume is not that great, and it is super lightweight, so definitely plan on having your child wear thermal underwear or sweats underneath if it's going to be cold. You defintely need to take that into consideration when choosing a size - which can be a little tricky. My son is a 2T/3T, so I ordered a 4T, and it *just* fit over his thermal underwear. The inconsistency in sizing is definitely a flaw, especially since you are ordering off the internet, sight unseen, from vendors that generally do not take returns. As I said, the overall costume itself is really cute, although the mask is a total waste. It didn't sit correctly on my son's face, and the eye openings were too small. He wouldn't have any part of it. I was able to find another Batman mask that was just that - a mask and not a hood. It also had bigger eye openings, and my son ended up wearing that on Halloween. I really didn't mind buying it, since he still uses it to dress up and play Batman with his brother.
