So, the wig should actually just be a top hair piece. The glowy bits are kind of bunched up in just the bangs, and I had to put in new batteries to get it to work. I would not recommend getting this item. It was fun for the party I used it for, but I spraypainted some of it pink since the wig itself is actually a stark white. No amount of ratting or fixing is going to give you the fluffy look in the photo on the cover.

After I finally got the battery compartment open (I had to use a knife, since the screws were tiny and I didn't own a small enough screw driver), the batteries were corroded, and I have yet to remember to pick up hearing aid-sized batteries. So it is a fun wig as is, but it would be better if I could get it to light up.

This was fine for a single use. The light wasn't very bright so I replaced it and looked great with the costume.
