 Poor product packaging equals dirty upon arrivalJul 24, 2011

The manufacturer's packaging of these hats only consists of a tag. They are not wrapped in plastic, therefore the pure white hats are prone to become dirty in the warehouse and while being packaged. Two of the four that I ordered were unreasonably dirty, but I had no time to return them and just had to use them dirty (I needed them for a party). Other than that I really liked these hats, and if you order the black ones it is probably not an issue because the dirtiness would probably not be noticeable.

This product was worth the $, Worked well for our purpose for costuming for a school play and was economically in our price range. It was of good quality.

I got this for a play and was very pleased. I had to build "I'm Just a Bill" on top of the white one and it made a very sturdy base. I used the black one for a magician. The hat is made of heavily stiffened felt with a satin-like finish. Nice shape and size - higher than most and fairly vertical sides - large enough for an adult head. Both colors looked great on stage.

Bought this as part of my Halloween costume. It looked nice for being so cheap, and it got sat on and popped right back into shape. Only problem is like most hats on me, it was too small, by a considerable margin. Just watch out if you have even a slighly larger than average head.

I wasn't expecting a top of the line, amazing satin top hat. However I also wasn't expecting this cheap piece of worthless crap. It's not much better than a kids party hat. It says it's satin but it's actually some cheap paper or canvas with a lot of stiffener. The ribbon wasn't even satin-like. I don't know what it is made of but it wasn't even good enough to wear on stage for a campy vaudeville act. I had to throw it out and make one myself with less than 12 hours to go before my performance. It was that bad.
